Thank you for your visit to the information page of the Department of Applied Sciences and Chemical Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University. The Institute of Engineering (IOE), founded in 1930 AD (1987 BS) as Nepal’s first technical school and reformed to present shape   in 1972,  is producing outstanding  engineering technicians and engineers for more than 80 years. The tradition of excellence  in IOE is further intensifying in due course of time. IOE is also becoming  more and more responsive to the everchanging needs of the students and the  engineering profession. We also have been actively involved in research and development. Several of our faculties have won grants from local and international funding agencies and carrying out research in diverse fields of Science & Engineering.
